So on tuesday my shift ends at 5 and at 430 my phone rings. My phones NEVER rings since im just an account admin I dont deal with users directly. So im thinking "hhmmm should I answer it? could be a wrong number" Well I answered it and it was a recruiter from my temp agency and she asked me to come down stairs to the security desk. My temp agency never ever makes an appearance at the person's job unless its something bad- I know from past experience. So I know whats about to happen; I grab my belongings and make my way downstairs. She has a sad face and tells me that they have to let me go. She told me that one of the security gaurds recognized me from two years ago and identified me as somebody who they had to escort out due to some type of security issues. So im royaly confused because nothing of the sort ever happend! I did work for this company two years ago; that was the only true part of her statement. So I just calmly and very confused leave the premises. Well Wednesday I get a call from a # I dont recognize and since im unemployed of course im still sleeping; it was about 11a lol. I dont answer and go back to sleep. Half hour goes by and same # comes up on my phone again so I answer and its my temp agency telling me there was HUGE mistake and my work wants me to come back asap. I kind of saw this coming so I had a little speach prepared about how I want a $1 raise LOL but i chickened out and just asked for the day off instead. So here I am back at work this morning taking the abusive jokes from my co-workers about being the "new" guy again! aahh jerks! LOL

And my exchange account STILL isnt back up yet grr, and I had to call those highly technical password reset kids to help me back onto the domain- that was entertaining let me tell ya.

Ok well hopefully that was at least a little entertaining and killed a few minutes of your day

Man I would've been ****ed. You can't say screw you, you fired me, because then you would be unemployed. That would have been funny if you had already found a new job when they called. Or actually, since you knew they would call and you had a speech ready you should've had a speech saying how you already found another job. lol.
