Default Folding@Home - CPU client or GPU?

Hey, I'm thinking of running the folding client on my pc whenever it's not in use, should I run the cpu client or gpu client in order to get the most out of my specs.

CPU - Amd 3500+ oc'd to 2640 GHZ

Nvidia 6600LE video card overclocked, will get specs in a sec.

And just to confirm is the cpu client the one labelled Windows 2000/XP/Vista Graphical client 5.03?

Thank you

if you have a GPU that is compatible with the program, use that. It will blow the CPU client out of the water.

GPU client is having trouble with nVidia cards last I checked. I wouldn't recommend it for you.

Actually, the GPU client is only for ATI cards (the newer ones). They have scrapped the NVIDIA version since NVIDIA's architecture is not conducive to FOLDING.

I think R600 should aid folding@home quite nicely

Bah... Worldcommunitygrid FTW!

lol - I've been torturing my P4 3.4ghz for the last 7 days straight at 100% 24/7 running two tasks, it's been no lower then 72C since then. I wonder how long I can burn this thing in?

Seriously, Grid computing is an incredible technology and the benefits used by the right organization are wonderful. If you have a chance to donate your hardware to a project grid, please do so...

Hi Willeh... Sorry, but as Trotter mentioned, only ATI cards are supported with GPU clients right now. If you have a PS3, you can use that too, and you would jump to lead the team in work completed in no time.
