In my opinion, the best way to take it out would be to drain all the oil...as you would have to do that anyway. Remove the oil pan..and then deal with removing the sock from around the camshaft. Not only that, but he's lucky all the oil didn't go shooting out and cause it to sieze up. Anyways, that's going to be a pain..especially if he has no idea what he's doing under the car.

I was laughing pretty hard untill i remembered that my truck door is gone...

Brake booster failed, so did master cylinder, so i replaced them and while trying to bleed the brakes i accidentally took off the E-brake... truck rolled backwards, door caught tree, tree decided to keep door, truck abandoned door... took my frustration out on the
master cylinder before i realised it was the new one........... so now im buying another one.......
