If you stop you have a have a large chance of getting ambushed, especially in a market area like that. The Iraqi people know they are supposed to get out of the way. That unit was just using a very small amount of escolation of force (EOF).

Exactly. It's war. They weren't being immature -- that's what you have to do if you want to survive. A lot of people just don't get the concept of what war really is.

You could tell they were tense from their voices at the end when the cameraman makes a comment about the one guy who was picking his nose.

It's called responding to a situation or patrolling your section. EVEN the busy ones. No, im with Firefox and Naerskine on this one. It's war, you are either with or against, none of this half assed BS. If your gonna sit on a fence, im gonna shoot ya off. Those soldiers are under a lot of stress, so I really don't have any problem with their actions when it pertains to their security and the ability to meet the objectives set forth by their commanders. Those boys are doing a bang up job over there.
