What's the big deal? I'm sure the composers and Doom creators over at id listen to plenty of rock music so it's only natural that when they made the tunes for the game it would have similarities to what they themselves would listen to. What's the big deal?

That's probably why it sounds pretty good. Or maybe it's the metal bands that rips off doom?

well, especially on the pantera ones (YEAH GO PANTERA) it's not just 'similarities', it's basically copies which leads me to believe they probably contacted a lot of these artists and asked if it was aright.

A few of the last songs are just basically midi versions, theres no way the people would just create those songs and expect people not to notice.
