Default Does moving to a smaller computer monitor annoy you?

Well for the last couple weeks I've been borrowing my sisters 42" 1080p LCDTV and using it as my computer monitor. However she took it back today so now I'm back to my (now considered) pathetic little 21" monitor. Its totally annoying me, it feels like I'm using a 13" monitor. Before I was using the TV I always considered this monitor decently big since all my friends still use 17-19" monitors and it always made my monitor seem huge. So does moving from a bigger monitor to a smaller monitor annoy you to?

Pfft, I used to use a 15" CRT. I game on my 32" LG, 720p/1080i. If I didn't, I would be gaming on a 19" LCD. No bueno. Can't stand gaming on something small.

Well, if you're close to your monitor, like you are on any desk, 21" doesn't seem too small.

I had my 24in LCD for 2 days, It made my head hurt for twice that long when I returned it and had to use my 19in again.

Every time I get a new monitor it is always larger.

It kills me when I have to use my laptop for the screen is so small.

Really doesn't bother me I have 2 laptops one with a 15" and one with a 12.5 or 13" (can't remember) and then my desktop has a 24" and my tv has a 50". I prefer to play on the desktop as its much smaller area for my eyes to move so I can react quicker in games and the resolution is high enough to have 2 office apps open next to each other.

I am moving between 24 (home), 2x 17" (work), 15" (laptop), 10.2 (netbook) every day. It does not bother me.

It bugs me a bit but i can deal with it. When i have to use the monitors at school it bugs me more then my 17' monitors though because they are so far away...

I go from 22", to 17' to 22', to 17', to 15' (my laptop), then back to 22". That is pretty much my day. So im not using anything too big so maybe that is why it does not bother me as much. Hopefully once i get a job here i can pick up a 32'-42' 1080p tv though....

It took me a good month to get used to not using three monitors when i had them setup though. It is so useful...

I use a 30" dell at home with 24" side monitor, and 2 24"s at work. I really dislike doing anything on something smaller than 24". I'm so used to the desktop space.

Yeah my work monitor is smaller than my home one. But I don't care. Biggest gripe is if I VPN into work and use RDP, it screws with my work monitor's settings and moves all my icons around.
