imagine: in a few years every possible question will be answered and u would only have 2 search TF to find an answer....the forums would get boring....but ofcourse there are always new technologies

Good Idea in theory. I think we should make all the AMD vs. Intel, Linux Vs. Windows Vs. Mac, ATI vs. nVIDIA, PS2 vs. GC vs XB threads as permantment stickies.

Well, then you dont know databases........
Did you know that all of the natural US citizens are kept in the Social Security Database? The SSA has 1 (ONE) and only one !!!!

ONE

1

Database for EVERYONE that is involved in or gets the taxes taken off of their check in the US.

This DB is in SQL and can be accessed in Oracle.....but it's ONE (1) simple DB.

Does TF have their own servers? or is some other company hosting all this?

Check out www.netcraft.com and type in www.tech-forums.net in the search box on the top left to see what hosts TF.
