If you never heard of "smashmyxbox" or "smashmyipod" they are the people who wait days to get a hold of console systems on the day they launch then smash them outside in front of everybody. They already did it with the 360 ( http://www.smashmyxbox.com/) and they are going to do it with the PS3 ( http://smashmyps3.com/) and the Wii ( http://www.smashmywii.com/).
Basically people donate money to them to take a sledge to smash it right in the middle of the parking lot. Although I might feel bad for the first person to get turned down for a PS3 (although they are only getting the 20GB version) but I find it amusing. |

I don't know why anybody would want to donate money, even if they really hate sony/nintendo/microsoft. I find it a waste of money, but if they want to spend the money and I can see the video then let them go at it  . | |

Yea I first saw it when they did the 360 IMHO it is a waste of money. If you are going to donate money donate it to starving kids in a third world country or to cancer research or something else useful.

I agree that money should be donated to much better causes. I also feel sorry for the person who got there right after the last one was sold and can't buy one because some *** hat just smashed the one he could have had.

I agree, those guys are morons. But you gotta admit, the reactions of the people around them can be priceless. That is the only reason I look forward to them smashing a PS3, because of the religious following the PS3 has, I guarantee some people are going to flip.

I can see some overeager kid diving on it just before the hammer hits and getting his head cracked. Yeah he'd say it was worth it. Just get one the same way lots of folks got their PS-2 back when they were too hot to find, rent it at Blockbuster and don't bring it back.
