Is this along the lines of quantum computing?

DNA computers will be capable of storing billions of times more data than your personal computer....
That is what is most interesting.

Also, we are approaching the limits of microtechonology. We just cant pack more stuff into chips

We must develop new things, and i think this idea will be implented, not anytime soon though

Good point. Another thing you have to do is compare it with the other two computing technologies that are also trying for a spot after silicon microchips.

The three are basically DNA computing, Quantum computing, and Nanotechnology computing. DNA computing research is dealing with using DNA strands to compute, Quantum computing research is dealing with arrangements of qubits to hold and manipulate data, and Nanotechnology...along with all the other nanotechnology research, has many ideas.

Question: Where will they get the DNA from. O_o

Because think about it.....if they are gonna make it in mass production then we're talking about millions and millions of them.
