I was about to go to bed last night, when my buddy called me and told me he was watching possibly the funniest movie he had ever seen. It was on Lifetime (that should send up a red flag right there) and it was about this kids addiction to online porn. This movie was ridiculous, absolutely absurd! It was like a modern day Reefer Madness, just with porn instead of reefer. It began to destroy his whole life, tear apart his family, and impeded his school work. He swam on the swim team at his school as well, and that was suffering because he was always thinking about porn. He couldnt sleep at night because he had to look at porn, he even got suspended for looking at it at school. He was going to nail this chick, but didnt, and she flipped out on him and smashed her head as hard as she could on a counter in her bathroom and cracked her skull. All because of his porno. Oh yeah, he also nearly raped his girlfriend (thats right, he had a girlfriend) because of his porn addiction.

Now, you could have taken away the porn factor, replaced it with heroin, and had a good after schol special on addiction. But THIS... C'MON!!!!!! The fact that he got his jollies off a whole lot tore apart his life and his family. He even got **** at school for looking at porn. I dont know what alternate reality this movie was made in, but where I come from, people dont give you **** for lookinga t porn.

Granted, all he did was look at porn, and they took it way out of proportion, but jeez. They kept saying he had a problem, and couldnt stop. It was simply ludicrous.

If you can see this movie, do it. It was so funny, a great before bed laugh. I can see this movie becoming a cult favorite in years to coem, just like reefer madness.

At the end of the movie the kid gets jumped (for hitting the girl who smashed her head) and gets the crap beat out of him. He goes swimming, realizes that he has so much to live for, and decides to kick his porn habit.

A must see, but only once.And then again in a few years when you are nice and wasted.

I just talked with one of the older guys I work with. I said "This is a silly question, but do you ever watch Lifetime?" He said sometimes, and then immdiately asked about that "cyber movie" taht was on last night. Thats soo funny, he watched it to. He, like me, thought it was ridiculous.
