I wrestled for 10 years, have trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission grappling since 1999, and have spent some time at a couple Judo dojo's & boxing gyms to try and learn some other basic skills like better throws & punching. I don't do any competitions or get in street fights, I just enjoy training and learning the most effective techniques & methodologies for martial arts.
I have taken private lessons from Renzo and visited his school many times:

If you wanna do Bruce Lee stuff, Bruce didn't really have a style he had a philosophy, it is called Jeet Kune Do, if your in California your in luck because that is where most of the great Jeet Kune Do schools are located, like Roy Harris in San Diego, Paul Vanuk in Cali, Dan Inosanto in Cali, all legit masters.
In a good Jeet Kune Do school you will learn a very broad understanding of martial arts from striking, throws, groundwork, and weapons, lots of drills along with some hardcore training to test & push yourself a little, Paul Vanuk for example has had his students go at it bare knuckle in practices, he is that hardcore. Jun Fan is the style that is literally the same stuff Bruce did back in the day & of course thats a part of what you learn in a Jeet Kune Do school, I'd love to train it but to find a high level teachers in the style is difficult in most parts of the country.
