I'd go with (1). Reason? I've always liked security. Plus the job seems more analytical than (2).. IBM's Websphere is it?.. Yeah.. I remember doing a competitive analysis of it during one of my internships.. Sounds boring. lol.. I'd pick (1)..

Admin stuff was never for me. Too repetitive and dull.
