Christmas Music

I have to just come out and say it... I despise most Christmas music. Nothing wrong with it, but I can only handle a day or two of it, and that was used up by August when the first stuff showed up in stores. But there are some that I can handle.

Traditionally, people go out on the streets playing music, and they go door to door recruiting other people to make one large party. Also streets are shut down, speakers brought out and everybody comes outside to have a great time.

Oh, and cant forget about the cigars, dominoes, and Bacardi..

FYI, this music dates back a few hundred years, its a mix of Spanish and African rhythms which mixed together when they brought slaves to the island in the 1500s.

I learned to loathe Christmas music. From October to January they have had it playing at full blast in the stores I've worked at. Thank goodness I'm finally away from that mess now, I couldn't take another 4 months of the same 10 Christmas songs over and over again, 8-10 hours a day, every day....it's enough to drive a guy mad.
