Default Change IP address help!!!!

Ok I hear that by changing your IP address it is possible not to get shot in the face by various government agencies for d/l music... So, does anyone know how i would go about doin this??

lol. The chances of you geting caught are one in a million but to change the ip address right click on network neightborhood, then click once on TCP/IP then click on properties, then imput the ip address you want.

This may kick you off of your internet due to the assigning of IP's from your ISP. I recommend that you do not change your ip address but it is your computer.

I don't think you can change IP address because most internet providers in UK assigns you one.

if you have a isp that gives dynamic ips, your ip will change each time u disconnect and reconnect for beyond the "threshold" period. However this is no protection. ISP have logs of who a specific dynamic ip was designated to for the specific time interval it was used.

forget the riaa, its a scare tactic.

Yes it is a very cool tool to use while on the net.

Mike just said dont go there so he wouldnt get in trouble for helping a mp3 downloader lol.

Thats what i think anyway.
