$187.73 to a grocery store is nothing, cash that in.

First paycheck feels like a million bucks, doesn't it? That will change. I now get paid every other week (which sucks), but all the overtime together on a single check looks really nice. We go to an all-salary workforce next year or so, so I'll start getting paid on the 1st and 15th... I'm not looking forward to that at all.

Congrat's about getting paid for the first time, just don't blow it all at once an buy something memorable with it.

Trotter you think bi weekly is bad try monthly like I have to put up with in my new job.

I'd have to start robbing more banks... oops.

Bi-weekly is bad enough sometimes. I've been paid like this for a few years now, so we have learned to live with it. Still don't like it, though.

I don't think I could handle monthly. If I wasn't disciplined in my budgets and spending I'd just blow it all right away and eat ramen and saltines for the remaining 29 days of the month.

Wow, I couldn't imagine making $187 per 34 hours. That's like $5/hr. Is that before or after taxes?
