I used to be pretty good with it. Posting a question would be helpful to get you some answers.

got a 1994 nissan pathfinder today.

sound system is complete crap.
looking to spend around $250 on 4 speakers, sub isn't necessary.
just a basic package would be nice. idk what size the speakers are though..

it'd be nice if it had a removable face plate too. ill be going to the city a lot and those things get stolen like mad.

visit www.sounddomain.com and Crutchfield: Car Audio, Home Theater, Speakers, Home Electronics to figure out the speaker sizes.

how loud to you want to go? you could get a much better-sounding system if you upgrade the front speakers and upgrade the head unit (receiver). for speakers, i really dig the inifinity kappa speakers. they have a high sensitivity rating which means they'll be louder without needing an additional amplifier.

for head units, there are lots of good ones, but i prefer the kenwood KDC receivers.

find a head unit on sale (A GOOD ONE THOUGH) for around $110 and the rest you can use for speakers.

$250 is a tough budget to work with. you won't be able to upgrade all 4 speakers plus get a new receiver for that kind of cash

5x7, apparantly.

would a budget of $350 help out some molsen?
