Unhappy Cant Find A Dang Job

What the heck...

I have looked online and done as much as I can but i cant find a single job hiring 15 year olds, they only hire 16 and up

This sux, i have to wait yet another year to get a job.. i really want to take advantage of not having to pay for rent, electricity, water, and gas while i still can.

Pretty soon ill have to pay for all that stuff myself, and i wont be able to have all the new technology and clothes.

At 15 about all you can get is a job bagging groceries.

You're 15, what the heck do you need a job for? You're supposed to be hanging out with freinds and being a kid, not working. You've got the rest of your life to THAT.

Go get a job at Burger King or McDonald's. I'm pretty sure they'll hire a 15 year old. Not sure what the legal age for your state is to work. At 15 and a half, I worked under the table at some Italian restaurant washing dishes. Boss was pretty nice, big Italian guy look like a god father , paid me under the table like $80 a night for 8 hours work.

Actually, hmammen may be on to something. The local scorekeepers' association pays like $7.50 a game for keeping score for softball leagues, and you can make $10 a game or more during tournaments. 15 is not too young for that. Umpires make more money per game.

You might be able to be a busboy. It ain't sexy, but it is something.

Try talking to some mom and pop places, as well. you might get lucky.

Labor laws are pretty strict until you hit sixteen. Even then they are strict, but not as bad. I know MickeyD's and Burger King won't talk to you until you're sixteen around here.

Dunno where you live or what the neighborhood is like, but when I was 15 I took the lawnmower and went door to door during the summer. Kept me in video game money for sure. Also you might try the local newspaper, they typically will hire kids to deliver the paper. If you live in a large city, people will pay somebody to walk their dog. Wash cars in your parents' driveway. (Pay them for the water though) I watched The Big Idea one night and there was a guy on there was a multi millionaire and started at age 8 selling rocks door to door. Yes ROCKS.

mowing lawns for $10-$20 an hour. Trailer park lawns can be mowed in 30 to 60 minutes, so this is good income if you can get client base. I done this till I was 17 the worked on the farm cutin tobacco for 16 cents a stick, not too bad
