If you take the first letter of each word and put it at the end and then read it backwards, it's the original word.

minus the first letter, all the words have letters which are mirror images, meaning its the same forward and backwards:
a - ssess
b - anana
d - resser
g - rammar * BTW, you misspelled grammar
p - otato
r - evive
u - neven
v - oodoo
