Default which is a better tv?

these tv's seem to have everything, I think I might go with projection lcd instead thought because I'd like something more like 50-60 inches.

Is not having 1080P a big deal? These have hdmi & 1080i....

the 40" one is better, it supports more formats (PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N) and it's bigger

thx man, might end up buying it before too long, i want to play xbox 360 on it, and I think that 360 is in 480i which isn't listed in the first one, and I also am going to decide if 1080P is worth the extra $$$$

480i is SDTV.

The Xbox 360 supports up to 1080P via VGA with the latest (well one of the newer one) update. It's not really a big deal not having 1080P unless you receive HD TV in that res?

Unless he's planning on moving anywhere but Canada and the US, PAL doesn't matter at all.

PAL = useless

Right now, HDTV is at most 1080i, but HD-DVD and Blu-Ray are 1080P. Well, Blu-Ray is. I have only seen 1080i HD-DVD players.
