Default Is Bestbuy serious?

They have something new on their site.
"Build Your Own PC and Save." really?

Let's compare their price to trusty newegg.com shall we?

AMD 64 3500+
Bestbuy - $289
Here
Newegg - $88
Here

ASUS A8N32 Mobo
Bestbuy - $249
Here
Newegg - $169
Here

Antec 900 Gamer Case
Bestbuy - $159.99
Here
Newegg.com - $139.99
Here

[Three Components]
Bestbuy - $697.00
Newegg - $396.99

So, yeah as we can clearly see, you can save money building your own PC, but by shopping at newegg and NOT Bestbuy...

Wow. I almost fainted when I saw the processor though. That's triple the price, for one item.

And i just bought that exact processor too, from Future Shop, Best Buy's cousin.

At Future Shop, they asked me if I wanted their warranty.

So i said "Yeah right. As if I'm gonna trust Geek Squad with my computer".

They said they're not affiliated with Geek Squad...bullcrap. It's the same chain.

talldude, why'd you buy your cpu from futureshop?! how much you pay for it? or did you just buy a pre-made computer?

I bought my computer from Future Shop because it was very cheap. I mean cheap.

AMD Athlon 64 3500 2.2Ghz, 512MB RAM, 160GB HD, Geforce 6100 256MB

All for $370, including the speakers, mouse, keyboard.

This was pre-made from Acer...

BestBuy is only good for buying DVDs,CDs, and home appliances. everything else is very overpriced.
