Reminds me of my last house mate.
My freind Bruce came down here to study from Canada. Pretty much every one was bugging him to go see the sites. Like for about the 2 years he was down here, he had about 8 months worth of holidays.

So what does he do during those months.....

He buys a computer from me, get my house onto a ADSL plan (Like he paid all the upfront costs including the Router), and spend it playing EVERQUEST and drinking Starbucks.

All this freind and my freinds where telling him to go out as see the sites of Australia.
When ever his parents called up, he used to tell me to tell them that he is off in Brisbane or Melbourne or Northern Territory seeing the sites and that his digital camera got stolen/lost/smashed. This normally happened when he spent too much money in a short period of time.

Not that I am complaining as I now have the his computer + monitor and the Router to myself. And while he was on holidays, I knew that some one was home, so no one was going to knock the joint off.

[edit] I am just had guilty there on that. Mainly Christmas Day.
I show up in Dec 24 with my computer.
I respect the fact that I should be with family. However when after we give out gifts in the morning, i have to wait it out until christmas dinner. Until then, it's normally a drinking competition between my dad and my god farther (which normally gets rather ugly by about 2pm)[/edit]
