So I want to start watching Anime i dont know where to start of

What series are good i really liked Kenshins Movies not the series and i also like Hellsing thats all. Please guys gimme some movies to watch!

A while back I got really into the Tenchie in Tokyo series. With most of these series, Once you start watching them there's a bajillion different stories to it. If it's your thing it'll keep you entertained, Personally I can't really watch too much of it now. Hellsing is a really good little series. It had a good story behind it. I can't really recommend too many since I haven't been into it in such a while.

i got two very good animes, these are the BESTT of the BESTT! Bleach and deathnote. Dont believe me then go watch the first episode

I like the vampire hunter type anime. Unrealisticly large amounts of gore are great, lol! Gundam Wing is good. Other than that dunno any names. And like the other guy said, there are a million different stories for each big series so prepare to get your feet wet.

Sadly most of the other anime movies out their really require you to have some knowlegde of the TV series or a managa series. Or they are just rather disappointing when you compair them with the TV series or manga.

Like I never really liked akira until they released the books into english a few years back.
Appleseed as so much more to tell manga. However they are doing another movie which is going to be out next year.
Ghost In The Shelll Motion Pictures are a good little introduction to the series. However the Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone Complex TV series is so much better.

Apart from that, most of the movies that are out there really only act as high budget episodes for TV series given a theactical release. Most of the time I watch the movies, and I am more or less disapointed due to the lack of character development that we are used to seeing in the TV series.

Otherwise, you can have a look at some of the OVA series that are out there.

I agree. Any anime is better fansubbed. The best example I can remember is they turned "Sandal Hat" (urahara) to "Hat-and-clogs".

Watching the [as] versions of anime really butchered the ending of Eureka 7, which was a really good way to end the anime.
