What do you make of that? There are hundreds of studies showing carbon copy affects of this trend as well, be it tiny beetles destroying vegetation in Alaska to the melt rate of the arctic ice.
Did you read the article I posted before, that stated that solar radiation levels are higher in the past 60 years than they have been in the past 1150 years?

We'll I understand that, yeah. But if the sun is emitting more energy, and if its believed that this warming will cause major problems, then shouldn't earth be doing whatever we can so that we don't get cooked?

(Being a mechanical engineer, my job security goes up the more the world needs clean energy, btw)

Of course, clean energy is a good idea, whether or not global warming will have any negative impact.

I personally think that Australia should build some nuclear reactors.
I mean, Australia does have 40% of the world's Uranium. Or so I've heard.

France made most of their power generation nuclear, and they are better off for it. They have cheaper, and cleaner power.

Nuclear power is an amazing energy source. I am very pro-nuclear power. I saw an article on PopSci too showing how they could take desert sand, dump the waste barrels into the sand and then literally cook the sand into a glass, entombing the waste. Seemed like a novel idea.
