So I get home from picking up a package...I'm home for about 5 mins and I go to sit down at my computer when I hear this "GET BACK IN YOUR APARTMENT!! GET BACK!"

I look down the alley which my window overlooks and theres freakin cops down there with like........civilian M16's with scopes aiming down the alley way. They are still there and they just wheeled some lady on a stretcher across to an ambulance and one cop is still aiming down there.

UNFORTUNATELY, my roommate is not home and I have no idea where his freakin video camera is, and I don't have any other way to take pictures. Needless to say this is pretty crazy/exciting lol.

I saw one guy get taken away in cuffs and the cops are still on alert so I keep watching. Luckily I can see everything that's happening through the reflection in my window So I don't have to stick my head out.

man I want to find my roommates camera so bad but I don't want to just go through his stuff. There's two snipers on that building that I'd be able to get a great closeup shot of. I'm not sure where they are aiming though, but it looks like one is aiming south of me and another aiming to the north kind of scanning this whole block.

The cop who was aiming down the alley is no longer there. He and this other cop were back to back.....one had a regular police issue pistol, the other had that crazy semi-auto gun and the moved carefully to the other side and I haven't seen them since.

THEN, a cop was just strolling down the alley checking behind dumpsters. I'm thinking.....they go from watching the alley armed to just sending a cop down there checking behind the dumpsters like nothings going wrong!?

All that translates into, is the bad guys have guns and normal people dont.

The alleyway that my window is above, is what seperates this building from the jewish federation building. I was freakin down on the street at 4pm, but I guess things went down about 1 minute (literally) after I got inside.

At the 28 second mark, to the right of the tree is the entrance to my building. I saw them running those hostages across.

At the 2:30 mark you can see the dude in custody and the cop aiming down the alley, that's the cop I was watching out of my window. They don't show it, but shortly after that point is when they walk him across the alley and I was watching all that.

When they zoom out on that first video I linked at 1:12-1:13, that's my building there on the left taking up most of the camera space lol.

No, full automatic assault rifles such as AK-47s and M16s are banned, although apart from that you are free to own just about anything after you've registered them and the other normal procedures. The old government was being stupid and proposing a complete firearms ban which is simply retarded
