About the only legal on that can think of is Paper Boy / Letter Box Drops.

Apart from that, any other job that some one might be working is pure cash-in-hand-under-the-table-not-in-the-books.
When I was your age, i did have a freind of mine who's father owned a petrol station. And I was help him out on Saturdays with the till. And during the week making sure that the drink and chips were fill. After I while, he even put me in charge of managing the inventory for the chips and drinks.

Mind you, you need to watch yourself there on cash-in-hand-under-the-table-not-in-the-books job. If you injur yourself on the job, your employeer could turn around and say that you never worked for him to avoid paying you medical benifets.
I have seen it happen to people. And at one stage I did have the boss at the petrol station asking about that too. (silly him did not realise that my farther is a union rep)

I was also running my own lawn mowing business during the summer months too.

Before I was 15 and could actually get hired somewhere I babysat, mowed lawns, even washed cars, stuff like that. Basically anything that I could get a couple of bucks out of. Mowing lawns was probably the most profitable. Larger lawns took about 1 hour to do good and I'd get paid $10-15, not a bad gig if you can line of a few a day. Almost no businesses in the US will hire 14 year olds, there's too much red tape and restrictions. You can only work like 10 hours a week, no more than 2 or 3 hours per day, etc (at least in MN).
