Default 1000th post is here.

Heh, I got tired of waiting. That, and Flanker2 had like 60 or 70 posts on him, so yea...

Instead of doing a guide, I just decided to show off my noobiness at the beginning of my hardware adventures. I've learned a lot since then, and I'm still learning, but this is when I knew nothing :classic:.

My first post on the forums, the reason I came here, actually;

Motherboard Restriction on Memory. Its not even an issue now, lol. But I had a 2001 HP PC so it had a 512MB restriction on it, so you can understand my apprehension.

Afterwards;

Value RAM Overclocking Question. You can see that I got interested in overclocking early on, lol. But at that time, I didn't even know that the RAM was overclocked along with the processor. Memory Dividers (without which I could not overclock) were mentioned here for the first time by Gaara, but I didn't know what they were at the time, lol.

And then;

Whats the point of having 2 video cards? Your basic SLI question.

Some more;

Simple OC'ing. Probably one of the most controversial ones. Its from back when I was still learning about overclocking. I got the impression that it was terribly hard from reading Eva2000's guide. Like I've said so many times before, though its wel written, its impossible for beginners to understand. I WILL be writing up an easier to understand guide. Anywayz, I went over to OC Forums, read 3 topics, and learned to overclock. Sorry you two, there IS an easier guide to overclocking.

Not done yet;

Good overclocking memory. Looking back, this was actually a very good topic, and very good replies.

This was plain humurous, lol;

How old are you? Yea, it didn't pan out, lol.

So thats that. 1000th post. Its a big deal to be cuz I probably won't be here for posts #5000 and #10000 (pssh, nubius).

Good work!

Dont forget that post count != intelligence.

Keep your posts useful and informative, and dont 'pad' your post count by making retarded posts that consist of "LOL" or "That card sux, get a 6600GT."

I have taken Elbatrop's advice and written a guide...

How to become a post *****
Whenever someone posts something that isn't funny, but you don't want to make them feel like an idiot for posting it, just simply reply with "LOL." Or, when someone asks, "What would be a good motherboard?" just say, "DFI." Then, when they ask you to clarify, just say, "DFI rox0rz." The key to this whole process is posting replies with as few words with as little imformation as possible. Another good tactic to use is to post things that are off topic, so people are like "WTF?" (Also a good tactic). Just keep doing that so they ask questions so you can reply and get your post count up. Then people will think you're totally smart because they'll just look at the number of times you have posted on these forums and not actually consider the fact that you can't type in complete sentences, or even english for that matter.

I think this should be stickied or something... I'm so awesome.

Disclaimer: I am not implying that Flanker is a post *****. I actually find most of the things he posts in the hardware forums to be informative and helpful. I was just bored...
