I just formatted my C partition and installed a trial version of norton security.

it blocked the following programs
windnsd.exe
& msnmsgrsrvc.exe
should i let them through or are hey trojans/virii and if they are how can i get rid of them?

where did i get this from, i just formatetd my system drive today, and just after i installed the nav trial version i get this messsage.
do you think it was on my appication drives and some how "jumped" over.

i deleted the windnsd.exe entries in the registry, what is the source/mother program which generates this crap.

i tried to look up entries on the msnmsgrsvc and tried to locate it on my drive, no luck, any info on that.


i was wondering if this had any connection with my computer crashing/freezing every now and then while i surf the net. i am using a proprietary LAn solution from ipwireless (UMTS TDD they call it) and every now and then the screen just freezes, while i am downloading a file or just plain surfing.

no idea....you just got it somehow...maybe through Kazaa or from pirated software.
