Default Virus/Worm causing computer to reboot

I've was troubleshooting with a pc for a few hours earlier today with no luck. Yesterday I installed McAfee on it to try to rid it of the virus and they brought the PC back the next day saying that McAfee wont even startup. So I booted into safe mode and McAfee still wouldnt load.

I installed Ad-Aware SE and 10 seconds after the scan started I would get a message saying the shut down has been initiated by the "NT
Authority/System". It also states that the "Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
service terminated unexpectedly" and would reboot.

After following some troubleshooting steps here I finally used the "shutdown -a" in the run prompt to stop it from restarting during the scan. Shortly afterward the computer just turned off and everytime I run the scan now, it will detect maybe 600 infections in the first 15 seconds before rebooting except this time I don't even get the message saying its going to reboot, it just does. So is this computer SOL or does anyone know of any other possible solutions? (I'm currently downloading Spyblaster on it to see if that might be able to remove it without the rebooting issue, but I probably won't be able to work on it until later tomorrow.)

*Sorry if I didnt explain it well enough and thanks for any/all help >_<

See how far you can get with this
http://www.tech-forums.net/pc/f51/sp...2008-a-165828/

At the end there is a section on a BootCD for spyware, etc by Kaspersky. See if you can run that if you cant get anywhere with the guide
