Default Virus Locations

Can I delete these extensions to get rid of these viruses? with out screwing up my comp?

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{5D900FC1-2A13-4675-8EFF-910E2658E927}\RP220
C:\ System Volume Information\_restore{5D900FC1-2A13-4675-8EFF-910E2658E927}\RP260

those are the original locations. the names are A0024474.exe and A0032821.exe, respectively.

The third one's original location is:
C:\Documents and Settings\Nick\Application Data\?ystem

and has the name as msiexec.exe. that one sounds neccessary.

thanks guys.

msiexec.exe is Microsoft Installer files. Do not delete them.

A0024474.EXE is a trojan, just google it to find out.

A0032821.EXE is a trojan, just google it to find out.

Sorry the the late reply.

Are you deleting them manually, or is the antivirus suggesting it?

You could always delete the first 2 weird ones, and keep MSIEXEC.EXE in quarantine.
