I can not do live update and when I try to uninstall norton it is showing "since live update is already running u can not uninstall".But even if I remove norton from startup also I am getting same message.When norton is not running and then when I try to uninstall it is showing "u should login as supervisorto uninstall"
for which enabling startup is needed.So it is not allowing in either way.

So for smooth live updae/uninstall what is the soln.

End all related processes through task manager then try to uninstall.

hahaha lol thats wut happens when you get norton

remove norton from startup objects and services then try
and use hijack this to get rid of norton too then yo should be able to uninstal

If you go to Nortons website, they have a removal tool. It will kill all items of Norton on your PC so you can do a complete fresh install of norton. You can get the utility Here.

i had this problem if you didnt et a passwword then there isnt one just dont enter a password and click continue

Thats why you dont use norton. Use AVG, it doesnt system hog, theres a very good free adition, and it keeps em virus's away like no other !.

I agree that Kaspersky is better than AVG in terms in performance, outbreak response and virus detection.

However, AVG is free.

Personally I prefer Avast! Antivirus. Just always stuck to it.
