I moved from NOD32 to MS Security Essentials for its beta. I still use it and have it on every computer in the house now. It does work, and works quite well.

Definetively Avast! Pro.
Lightweight (I have it on a 512mb laptop with Windows 7 and it doesn't go further than 350mb usage.)
Stops every single virus.

Yup, every single virus that it has the detection and removal definitions for, but what about the other viruses?
