Hellasweet Junior Techie Join Date: Nov 2005 Posts: 68	System32/confog/system is missing So I don't turn my computer off that often but when I did it gave me this message on startup: "Windows could not start because "windows/system32/config/system" is either corrupt or missing" I put the original window XP disk in and ran the repair console but I just got command prompts and didn't get anywhere. Please help!

The winxp cd doesnt require any passwords, it is just used for installing and repairing
