Spyware is invinceable these days

I swear to god spyware is invincible, my desktop backgroun has changed to 'Warning you have spyware' and wont let me change it, i keep getting pop ups saying i have spyware, i open IE and i get a pop up for spyware removers, yet i have AVG, Avast, Spyware Seach and Destroy, Ad-Aware and Stopzilla, and ive done over 6 hours of scanning with them today, found hundreds of spyware. But STILL i get these annpying pop ups and desktop background changes and its really starting to do my head in now.

the best solution to any virus or spyware... is reinstall your operating system..

I know, but you know how annoying it is to reinstall. I have 10's of gigs of game demo's and paid games that ive downloaded off steam ... and errr im avoiding that at all costs.

That's why you should have a secondary storage drive and just use your primary as your OS drive. Makes life so much easier. I can do a format, reinstall, and setting it all back to how it was before in less then 2 hours.

If for whatever reason you don't have another hd laying around, then I'd suggest that you just partition your main.
