Saving as a .txt file ?

I was going through Warez' guide, im now at the last step using HJT. It tells me to save the HJT log as a .txt file, although I am a noob and dont know how to do this

Could anyone help please?

Just type .txt after the file name when you save it.

hijackthis.txt

when you run hijackthis it says do a system scan and save a log file, that log file is the .txt file your on about, it opens up when the scan is done. If you want to find it go to the hijackthis folder and the .txt file should be there.
