Default POPUPS won't go away

I get popups once in a while, and the sad part is I have Norton Anti-virus installed and it's always running. How can I get rid of whatever I downloaded? I tried Hijackthis, but I don't know how to use it. Ad-aware removed a bunch of stuff, and Norton won't detect anything. But I still get popups.

Please help.

There will come a day, such a day when all will be told more than they wish to know, what one hears may explain the past, it may explain the future, but it has never made a difference either way and it will change nothing. Some day.... But that is not this day, and I don't know when, I just don't know.

alright, remove these entrie's.

*just as a warning* some of these entrie's might cause your computer not to function properly after removal. so, as a precation you may want to just wait for a second opinion on a few. maybe a repair install would help before removing any.
