i have mcaffee anti virus, and firewall. also have ad aware se personal. when i first put this pc together, i accidentaly downloaded the wrong file, and now i have some troubles. after about five minutes of my pc bein on, a casino ad comes up, or an adult friend finder comes up. also, every couple minutes a "warning" comes up in my start menu tray that says my pc is infected, i click on it and it goes to a site that wants me to buy antivirus. thats a bit ironic. ne ways, ive scaned my pc multiple times, and every time i scan w/ ad aware, there's always 7 files in some MIU or MUI file that i always delete, but every time i scan they're still there. im thinkin about just reformatting since this pc is only about 2 days old. any help?

if it's only 2 days old..then reformat that sucker!

Try a program called Trojan Hunter from www.misec.net it worked for me. It removed every trojan only prob is you can only have it free for 30 days.
