Oh boy! Have I had problems trying to get a registration key for their Anti-Spyware. I sent then more than a dozen e-mails to get a key without any response for over three weeks. Eventually I gave up and after reading October Issue of Personal Computer World and a free CD on the November issue, I installed and paid for Spyware Doctor.

I asked Paretologic for a refund. Their reply was only within 64 days of purchase.

A more unhelpful company is difficult to imagine.

indeed, that is terrible service, spyware doctor is a better program anyways.

Still, there are too many good free spyware apps to buy one, defender, avg antispyware, a squared, spybot, ad aware, hijack this, spyware blaster, we are lucky to have so many good freeware programs.

To be honest that's exactly the type of treatment I would expect of a company who uses spam and bad-mouthing of other security vendors as methods to drive download/payment numbers...

Paretlogic and XSoftSpy a complete con IMO.
