Default NOD, AVG, Kaspersky, Symantec, Mc?

I'm really confused as to which is a reliable anti virus program. I have tried all 4 of them and still don't know which one to go with?
Please advise!!!

Thank you very much for your help.

AVG is alright, i used it for a while, but Kaspersky is better. Better reaction time, better detection. And I had lower mem usage on Kaspersky than AVG.

I use Kaspesky, but i limited its functions, cause it deleted twice a system dll and I needed to restore windows Vista to an earlier point.
