Default to much spyware why???
i was just wondering why i am finding 5-10 spywares on my computer everyday! im not on alot of sites..
google
here.. (obviously..)
pogo
hotmail/yahoo e mail

so i really dont see why i get so much.. i was wondering if there was a reason.. thanx = )

Blitze105, do you have a firewall and and antivirus running? If so, what are they? If not, that's why. Tell me what antivirus/firewall you are running if you are running one. Liz

i do not like firewalls to much... i have microsoft antispyware... and as for the virus protection all of them are costly and im only 14 id rather not buy anti virus protection so i just use trendmicros free scan..
(i realize that sounds odd but i figured the antispyware would keep it off)

That's why you have spyware. You HAVE to have a firewall. And not all of them cost money.

For an anti/virus download one of these:
Avast! Home Edition
AntiVir Personal Edition
AVG Free Edition
All three are free for personal use.

For a firewall, download one of these:
ZoneAlarm Free
Sygate Personal Firewall
They are free for personal use.

Then download each of these programs and use them at least 2-3 times a week:
Ad-Aware SE Personal
SpyBot-Search & Destroy 1.3
Spybot - Search and Destroy DSO Exploit Fix 1.3.1 TX (this is the DSO Exploit fix for the Spybot and only has to be run ONCE)

Download these two and update 2x weekly at minimum.
SpywareBlaster
SpywareGuard
These two KEEP spyware out but do NOT remove it. Liz
