7Search.com is suing McAfee over being classified as spyware. McAfee’s SiteAdvisor site analysis system gave 7Search.com an “X” rating, meaning that user-submitted feedback identified “adware, spyware, or other potentially unwanted programs.”
[The lawsuit] is despite the fact that several anti-spyware companies make reference to the software being associated with 7Search.com after 2003, including one, Sunbelt Software, which makes the same connection, without going into detail, as recently as June 2008.
but do you blame them.. that site is known for tying with Browser Accelerator
