Default Linux AV

Hi i recently got fed up with crappy xp so i installed ubuntu (linux) which i highly recommend. I was wondering wether anyone knew if it is worth me getting some sort of linux anti virus or does it not exsist?

Any and all help appreciated.

A good freeware is BitDefender Linux Edition v.7.0

I recommend ClamAV. For a good firewall use APF.
