Default Kaspersky Int. Sec. 6.0 - Good product?

I see at Staples they have Kaspersky Int. Security 6.0 free after rebate. As I was looking for new security software, I was thinking of grabbing this.

Anyone have any personal experience with this package? I'm reading mixed reviews online - some love it, some hate it....

Thanks.....

Isnt Kaspersky the fastest virus scanner? 8min for 80g's?

Exclamation Re: Kaspersky Int. Sec. 6.0 - Good product?

IMO Kaspersky is the best the anti-virus program out there with the fastest updates for new security threats, but I have no expierence with their internet security suite since it is a new product to their line up. It could be worth giving it a try with the reputation Kaspersky has with security.

Also for Kaspersky anti-virus speed the first scan takes forever, but after that the scans just get faster and faster. The program is somehow able to detect if a file has been modified and will only scan it if there is a change.

Yes exactly. I know Kaspersky antivirus is very good, but I'm reading internet suite is mixed. Some love it, some hate it....

Actually, it seems ALL internet security suites get mixed reviews. I haven't seen one of them beloved by everyone. Seems it depends on your system and how it takes to that program I guess.

I just see opportunity to get Kaspersky free, and this might be a stepup from the free programs I use now (AVG, Zone free, Webroot free).
