My daughters PC had some spyware and prob. viruses on it. I think I got rid of them, but now it won't let me load McAfee. I put the disk in and nothing happens, I can't even see it when I go to Windows Explorer. How do I go about 'manually' running the disk? Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

If it doesn't show up maybe the disk or your drive is damaged?

Post a Hijackthislog to see if all them nasties is gone

I can see the drive, but when I click on it, it says there's nothing in it. McAfee installed fine on another computer and the CD drive will play music CDs. Hmmm...

What kind of pc is this? I've seen this before or a Compaq at work. I had to switch drives
