if its a virus or spy/adware i would boot to safe mode, that only really pulls in the stuff it needs to work then sweep with your cleaners. some cleaners are better than others, AVG spyware is pretty good even tho people really like spybot.

Ewidio used ot be good but thats a part of AVG spynow.
