Default friends computer messed up with virus

my friends computer has i virus we think. after he logs in on any account, it freezes up. he cant do anything at all. help?

really? ok.. are u noticing any symptoms.. like slugish behavior, popups, or anything like that?

he cant do anything at all, he logs in, then boom, cant do anything. nothing pops up

it has links to good spyware removal tools... hunted and tested by Warez Monster (member of the forum) and these are the best in his opinion.... and it has a step by step and screenshot additions if you have no clue what your doing... but first thing.. go download hijackthis and run it on ur buddy's system, then copy and paste the log file here

but for the freezing.. it maybe more hardware issue then software.. since he can't do anything.. i'd recommend a reinstall of OS, check your RAM or drivers that are causing the conflict
