| hi, so i have an old low spec computer running windows 2000 that i wish to connect to my network, for internet purposes. With it being low spec i dont want to have a firewall draining my resources to the extent the computer is extremely slow (which is the case when using Norton). I will scan for antivirus/malware on the computer by making it a network drive. Then simple scanning the hard-drive from a different computer. (Also, is that an effective method of scanning, i'm assuming it's fine). So which firewall would you recommend for my computer, without drastically reducing the system performance. Thanks. Spec. --baring in mind its "old"-- Processor 400mhz Ram 198mb (pc 100) |
