i found it suspicious that there are swf files in imageshack and its not registered as a picture file, so can i get infected by an swf file?

swf is Flash's file extension. There are no known viruses out there that infect Flash files..well, not that I know of at least lol... There was one called "SWF.LFM.926". But I don't recall it was ever unleashed into the general population.
