Help!!I am using microsoft internet browser 7 ,I think.Everytime I have to type anything in like on a web search or filling out forms, and click submit or enter, it freezes up.Sometimes it will go ahead and send after about 30 seconds or so.Sometimes I have to click on it several times to get it to send. And sometimes I have to alt-cntr-del and end the task.I am not sure how to fix the problem and it is starting to really irritate me.Any ideas would be appreciated.Thanx Bob

There is no version 7. The latest version is 6.0.x. Have you performed system maintainance? Such as defragmenting. Also you should clear the browsers cache. In internet explorer: Tools>Internet Options>Delete Files (say ok) Tools>Internet Options>Cleat History (say yes) Then after your clearing those out run defragmentation on the hard drive. After your done with that and you still have the problem run IE repair. Go to: My computer>Control Panel>Add/Remove Applications>Local "Internet Explorer and Internet tools>Click add/remove>Say repair installation. Have a nice night... Chaos

First please get Spybot S&D to clear out most of the spyware. Short tutorial and download link here: http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/ Fix everything SpybotSD labels in red. Then after reboot: Download 'Hijack This to its own folder http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button. Press that, save the log, load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet. __________________
