| Ok, I've decided to change over to AVG antivirus but before that I have just one little problem. I want to use the E-Mail scanner that it comes with, but I don't want it to attach the messages to the documents that it scans to tell me it found no problems, just something to tell me when it found something bad.

| Open AVG Control Center. Click on E-Mail scanner...then click on Configure. UNCHECK the box's that have "Certify" in them. That should take the scanning messages out of your incoming/outgoing mail.
