Default AVG E-Mail Scanner

Ok, I've decided to change over to AVG antivirus but before that I have just one little problem. I want to use the E-Mail scanner that it comes with, but I don't want it to attach the messages to the documents that it scans to tell me it found no problems, just something to tell me when it found something bad.

Open AVG Control Center. Click on E-Mail scanner...then click on Configure. UNCHECK the box's that have "Certify" in them. That should take the scanning messages out of your incoming/outgoing mail.
