This is a really good program for some reason when i install windows media player 10 i get a virsu or something that does not let me open properties when i right click on desktop or half of my control panel which really sucked and also my add and remove programs and some other problem i ran a boot check and it found 120 trojans and viruses on my comp weird and i dealeted em all and every problem i had disperaed its a good program speed up your computer aswell try it out tell me what you think

I've had nothing with problems with AVAST on my friends computere. It bogs it down so bad. I can't stand it. I finally uninstalled it and put on AVG. It's alot better now. But, it may work better for some.

What are you talking about i have it on my comp and it running and my friend just bought a new hp 300gb 3.2ghz and mine pc runs better then his and i have avast running on it it might depend on your computer memory and performance for running avast

Yes, it found '120 trojans and viruses' but who says thats all of them?

Maybes you should scan with http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ or a different scanner and see if avast did find them all.

Housecall trendmicro dosent work for me for some reason

Make sure your using IE and allow the active X controls to run. If it still doesnt work try with any of these:
